Logan Kiesewetter is the Henry-Senachwine High School, October Student of the Month. Logan is the son of Jeremy and Aimee Kiesewetter and has a younger brother, Lance.

Logan plans on attending college and majoring in Biochemistry. He has been a member of the Honor Roll each quarter and semester during his time as a student. He is also ranked in the Top Ten of his class. 

Logan is involved in many extracurricular activities at HSHS. He is an active member of the National Honor Society (Vice-President), FBLA (Treasurer), FCA and Math Team.  Logan has also participated in scholastic bowl, golf, basketball, and baseball throughout his high school career. 

In addition to his school activities, Logan also focuses much of his time on giving back to the community. This year he ran in the St. Jude Run (Eureka to Peoria).. Logan also started a book drive last year where he collected over 500 books to donate to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. 

On Wednesday, October 16, 2019, at the Henry-Senachwine Board of Education meeting, Logan will be presented with an engraved pen set from the Henry-Senachwine Education Association and a personalized plaque from the Henry-Senachwine Community Unit School District. In addition, he will receive a $25.00 gift certificate from Heartland Bank and a $10.00 savings bond from the Henry Dairy Queen. 

The student body, faculty, and community congratulate Logan on receiving this honor in recognition of his accomplishments and contributions at HSHS!
