Illinois Lumber and Material Dealers Association Educational Foundation Scholarships

The Illinois Lumber & Material Dealers Educational Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established to aid and promote lumber industry education throughout Illinois. The Foundation is supported by voluntary contributions from organizations and individuals who recognize the importance of continuing education and training in the lumber and building material industry.

These scholarships will assist and encourage qualified student to further or continue their interest in selecting the lumber and building materials field as a career. Scholarships range from $500 to $1000.

Any student who is enrolled full time in a certificate or degree program in an accredited trade school, 2-year junior college or 4-year college or university, and who is a resident of Illinois is eligible for the scholarship. Students may
apply each year, up to four years. While scholarship recipient selection will not be based solely on financial need, it may be taken into consideration.

See Mrs. Self for the application and additional details.

Deadline for the application to be submitted to the Foundation is March 16, 2017.
